There has been lots of interest in going through it all again, as we said we might five years ago - so we have booked a venue for Saturday July 8th. If you are not on the mailing list and think you should be then please email reunion@fitzlaur8082.com with your details and we will forward you everything you need to know.
We will be working through the pages on this site updating them with the correct information for the new reunion, but please bear with us!
Fitzmaurice St Laurence 1980/1982 Reunion
The next reunion is planned to take place over the weekend of the 7th, 8th & 9th July 2017. If you were in the 1980 O Level year at Fitzmaurice, or the first full 6th Form at St Laurence, then this (whisper it quietly) 35 year reunion is for you! If we haven't contacted you directly, then drop your details to reunion@fitzlaur8082.com

Reunited and It Feels So Good!
Firstly the Thank Yous:
Bradford-on-Avon Rugby Club for being such a wonderful venue on the Saturday
Bradford-on-Avon Preservation Trust for the use of the lovely West Barn on the Sunday
Robin for the brilliant printouts of the large 6th Form pic and the photo montages
Rich for being the weekend's "official" photographer
Caroline for the wondrous hand-painted Class of 82 banner
Julie for co-ordinating the meeting up with Mr Reid
Dyan for finding the Marshall Howe press cuttings
Paul for food shopping and chef advice and knowing how to turn the oven on
Tony for having any sound cable you could possibly want and knowing how to get the amplifier to work
Sally for the display boards
Sally, Sarah, Paul & Robin for helping set up on the Saturday night and calming Nina and Louisa down when they were surrounded by sweaty noisy long-distance runners in the middle of our venue
Paul & Elly for helping set up on the Sunday morning
All the lovely people who helped clear up, wash up, brush up and tidy up
All the people who submitted their photos to be shown on the big screen
All the ex-staff members who made the effort to travel to join us
Any of you who helped us in ways we have forgotten (it's old age!)
and last but by no means least
All of you who came from far and wide and made it such an unforgettable weekend!
Look out for the Wiltshire Times this week - they have already been in touch about a possible follow up story on the reunion.
and finally
Future date - there seemed to be a LOT of interest in doing this all over again - why don't you put the weekend starting Friday 7th July 2017 (7/7/17 has a ring to it, doesn't it?) in your diary now for a possible 35th reunion and let's see what happens and who else we can track down in the next 5 years!

Less than four weeks to go!
The catering is ordered, the decorations sourced, the music playlists and photo slideshows are being compiled - it's all go here!
With less than four weeks to go we have only a few people left to track down - have a look at the Missing page and see if you can help in any way with the last few!
It's not too late if you haven't booked - just drop us an email. And if you know anyone from other years, or members of staff, tell them about the Sunday picnic!

There are just seven weeks to go before we descend on Bradford-on-Avon to revisit our teenage years - and more and more people are being tracked down!
Rumour has also reached us that we have inspired the setting up of a reunion for the year below us for next year - good luck to all of you organising it, and do pop down to our picnic on the Sunday afternoon to say hi (but be aware that it might have got quite messy the night before!!)

We've been contacting various websites, newspapers and radio stations to spread the word about the reunion - we're mentioned on the Heart 102.2FM website here and we'll add any more as and when they happen!
